Portrait Photography is a demanding and immensely rewarding area of my work and I have specialised in photographing families and children for many years. I prefer to work outside as I love using natural light, and in fact hardly ever resort to artificial light of any kind.

Clients often have a special location in mind, such as woods, beaches and gardens. Children for example are happier in surroundings they are familiar with and then relax making my job that much easier.I like to spend as much time as possible when photographing children as it is necessary to build a rapport if the best results are to be achieved.

I provide finished prints in colour or Black and White, mounted and framed to suit your requirements. I am also available for family functions, Christenings, parties and any occasion that would benefit from being photographed and remembered. I am happy working with and organising large groups.

I've been lucky enough to be asked to photograph several very large garden parties where Princess Ann was the principal guest. Her body guards briefed me that I could take any pictures I liked but should stop if she gave me one of her "looks ". Luckily the event went off without any looks, so I must have behaved as expected.
